An outstanding example of free verse and a wonderful commentary on the current times. I love how are your poetry shines the form, Ryan, meter and flow are impeccable. A wonderful tribute can people who use their let their light of their Halo shine on us all excellently and, I see no room for improvement.

Really lovely poem and creative work of art! Yes, we are in such challenging times and we all need to take a long look in the mirror and ask ourselves if we are doing enough for the good of mankind? I pray each and every day that a miracle happens and a vaccine or cure will show its' face soon. Good job here!

Maureen, thank you! I pray that when we come out the other side of these dark days mankind can walk just a litter more peacefully, a little moe kinder a little more personally responsible and a whole lot closer to our Divine maker.

Amen - agreed - absolutely - look around, find ways to help - pray a lot - all day long - for our country, our president, the ones who are out of a job and soon can't feed their families - the self-less workers in hospitals. So many fine people God bless them

Excellent free verse tribute to those valiant people working on the front lines caring for the people stricken and sick. I am sure they are more appreciated by everyone and even much more than they will ever know. I really have no idea how they keep going on with such dedication and caring.

3rd stanza and these lines are particularly noteworthy:
