A very well-written commentary about more suitable silly names and some made up names all together make this a great collection of humorous names.

oh my - some more good ones - I guess we won't wear out - not in this group. Tis truly amazing - but now I should get back to writing - not simply read funny stuff. Keep it up

Wow, you're getting quite the following, and from various regions. There were a couple of names I didn't quite pick up on but, overall, I thought yours and most of the others were very funny. Perhaps you should get Olive Oberdair and Marc da Spotte together so Olive won't have to keep saying where her house is.

Here are more of my (hopefully understandable) contributions:

- Laurel N. Hardy watches "March of the Wooden Soldiers" every Christmas.
- Connie Playnow is tired of being cooped up and desperately wants a play date with his friend.
- Reina Lottear wants to check the average weather before deciding to move to the region.
- Dewey Desi Malsystem hasn't quite caught up with the electronics revolution.
[I'm not sure if it was done the same way in your area, but the Dewey Decimal System was how we kept track of where books were shelved in the library, using file cards, before everything was digitized.]

I wouldn't want to be saddled with any of those names. A parent would have to be a sadist to stick a kid with something like that. Did you hear about the book called 'A Russian in the Bathroom' by Willie Makeitt?

You've really started something here, Lisa. An enjoyable read and it seems as if there are a lot of people joining in. I like how you're posting their contributions, too. Great job. Marilyn

Oh my - your list of extra contributions keep getting longer. I think I need help with your first three names. I'm sure I must be pronouncing them wrong. Is Stan supposed to remind me of a Doberman as in dog?

    Thanks for your review.
    Translations:
    1. Leslie Vittalone = Let's leave it alone
    2. Tina Bikkie = Tea and a bikkie (Aussies say this; it is short for biscuit)
    3. Stan Doverman = A "standover man" is a British English term for someone who uses intimidation to get what they want. (But I like your idea it might refer to a doberman dog - rather similar.)

Everyone is getting so creative with these! What's funny is my maiden name is Hock and I have an aunt who married my uncle named Holly. Haha! She's always been teased about being Holly Hock! xoxo

Turn Table keeps the party going!

Diss Missive, refuses to accept anyone else's opinion!

Esther Jen, (estrogen) don't let your woman leave home without her meds!

Make Outpoint, knows all the secret lover's spots

Just some for you to develop further if you want!!
