Hi Doug, That's cute... now's the time, and that's for sure. 60 degrees today, but if I go for a walk with my son, we won't use the bike path, it isn't that wide... and there might be a lot of people out there on it, you just don't know. Best to walk around the neighborhood on the street where there's lots of room to spread out. :)

This poem, A Love, is just far enough out of center for me to have to trust that the hints of over-ripened fruit have something to do with lovers. Some are together so long they fail to appreciate the peels and scents that attracted them to each other in the beginning. Being apart has a tendency to renew those alluring senses.

This was a unique take on a different subject that leaves ones interpretation open. Rather it's as in your authors notes, a over ripen piece of fruit or ones inner look of their path in life. Thanks for sharing. God bless
