Awe, Geoff, I came in late to read this, but better late than never. I don't know how that happened. That I've been too distracted with everything else happening here could be my feeble excuse.
Anyway, it's good that you're back to normal, and do let it stay that way. it has been a long process. I got all the slang. I've lived in Britain enough time to catch that. Ulla:)))

Glad to see you are coming along. There is more than one way to wash up, even if it is not a full shower. In regards to the picture of your head, I would leave it posted.

Thanks Judi always appreciate your lovely reviews. Someone complained about the awful head pic but this is the last time it is gonna be shown and the complainers are in the extreme minority. They did the plan on my head for the Radiation therapy today. I might right something on that later. The mapping is on next week the first day of the treatment.

Four months is a long time to go without a shower--I resort to baby wipes when I can't even do the "bird barfs". I admired your flowing, rhymed quatrains, but the photos were scary. Keep making good progress and best wishes in the Rhyming Poem contest- Joan

a shower--since I was 17. Before then, we didn't have indoor plumbing. Between baths in a washtub, we had to settle for sponge baths. Your poem is SO well-written and vividly descriptive! Good to know the sun is shining for you again.

A very well-written heartfelt poem about the times we are not allowed to shower or bath because of wounds that need to heal and to stay away from water is the ideal. I can relate to that feeling, I could not take a proper shower for more than a year because of open wounds.

Thanks for the lovely review, Sis and being a tolerant US of AY lady! Funny how we all speak English but still cann't get around our slight differences but you that try are so welcome. All the prayers are welcome too. I have been encouraged to remove the head pic but the detractors are in the minority. We have come a long way since then.

I have found that, no matter what you write, there's always someone that complains. Compared to some of the artwork the horror people post, yours is tame.
