A very well-written 5-7-5 poem about the flock of birds that took flight without a flight plan but they have no major or fatal accident while they are in the air.

Congratulations for winning the contest.

I think this is a good entry for the 5-7-5 Poem writing prompt.
This short verse tells of birds "winging it".
Well done and I wish you good luck with the contest.

You've written an excellent poem for the 5-7-5 contest
with wonderful imagery of the sky and birds.
Nice contrast to human need for a flight plan.
Birds fly freely and don't crash into each other. :)
I love to watch the birds in flight.
Excellent art work to match.
Well done
Best wishes to you.

Oh, our fine feathered friends are quite the navigators, aren't they?!! :) This is a wonderful offering for the contest this evening - best of luck to you at the polls! ;) :)

Lovely presentation here. Birds flying never cease to amaze. I wonder why just that one species in the animal world? The same with insects. Some fly some don't. Don't you just love wondering why?

It would be wonderful to not have to have pack bags or anything like that. Birds have it made like that. This is good and I enjoyed reading this inspirational and well written work. Well done!

No, they do not need flight plans! Their inborn instincts guide them sometimes thousands of miles when they migrate. They can wing it - a man needs GPS...

Yes indeed - Nature and natural instinct can be awe-inspiring - we can learn a great deal from our feathered friends when they take to the skies - lovely pic

This is fantastic. I don't know how I missed it the first time around, you definitely have my vote for both your clever words and beautiful picture. I hope to see this up amongst the winners.

Great photo to drive home your subject. Hard to write these poems in a way that's timely and relevant and you have captured the timing of their the sky's free spirits wonderfully. Excellent!
