I think this is a good entry for the "Spring...Lovely Spring" writing prompt.
This lovely verse tells of the coming spring.
Well done and good luck to you with the contest.

This is really good work. I love the very descriptive and well placed wording you've used in this. I also like the use of alliteration incorporated throughout. Thanks for sharing this well written work that gives us anticipation that Spring will be here soon. Great job and well done!

First of all thank you for your notes, they were very informative. You named all of the vibrant colors of spring, and did it in a most carefully worded and delightful way. Painting a picture in the mind certainly applies here. Thanks for sharing.

I enjoyed the images and your explanations of these exotic plants in your notes. But I think this would be stronger if you could overlay some emotions or thoughts each plant evokes as you watch them bloom.

A very well-written poem about the arrival of Spring after a cold snowy long winter. We enjoy the colorful blooms, the busy bees, and the chirping birds building nests in the trees.

This is a very interesting and well written poem you have penned about the spring pallet of forest colors. You used very good descriptive words and I love the picture you chose to use for this. Thanks for sharing. It is winter here where I live and spring is a few weeks away! Thanks for sharing. love and Blessings Teri

Hello my friend
No spring until September? Wow. For us September is the end of summer. This is a great entry for the spring contest. Good luck.

I live in the southern hemisphere, so we are having summer now, with autumn our next season. Thanks for reviewing.

I don't know rata but kowhai is an old friend. My grandmother grew it many years ago. I like these snapshots of a bush walk. I'm surprised the ferns weren't silver though!

Thanks for reviewing. How lovely that you have kowhai. Silver ferns are actually not that common in the South Island area where I live.... more common in NZ's North Island.

My grandmother grew all sorts of odd things. She used to get o/s catalogues. We're in NW Tasmania, so have a cool temperate climate.

You certainly brought the colour here and all we need do is open our eyes as it is all there for us to see, you brought the scene with your descriptive words here, much enjoyed, love Dolly x
