I think this is a good entry for the February Fun Poem writing prompt.
This fun verse tells of National Public Sleeping Day.
Well done and I wish you luck with the contest.

Ah! I love this one and I do believe I voted for it. Uh-oh! Am I allowed to say that? Public Sleeping Day caught my eye and I am ALL ABOUT THAT!
Great job with this and I wish you luck with it! I missed this contest. I need to quit reviewing and actually write something. At any rate, Good Luck!

Wendy, thank you so much for this comment. We need several sleeping days a year I think (I also want to compensate for several sleepless nights a year. Lol. The sixth star is a big compliment, thanks again.

Well you found a unique Feb day to celebrate and great artwork to accompany it. Your poem makes an entertaining entry for this contest. Loved your last two lines. Good luck in the contest.

Well a National sleeping day sounds pretty inviting, I can tell you - as we rise often before 6 AM - and I stay up late. Not a good combo. Not sure what the term means (that you used) perhaps I don't want to know if it's questionable. Interesting poem for sure.
and I like that holiday

A very well-written February fun poem about the third Monday in February to be the National Public Sleeping Day. It seems just what we need after the January and February struggle to balance the budget again.

Hi Sandra! Officially (according to Google) the National Public Sleeping Day is the second Monday of February. Only I missed it -as you can read in my poem, for obvious reasons- that's why I decided to honor the Sleeping Day one week later. Thanks for the five stars!

Priceless! I guess there are some things that you simply can't sleep through. Better luck next Monday with your observance of National Public Sleeping Day!
