Just as I thought--another piece of an interesting story. You two write an interesting story and leave the readers hang high and dry waiting for the next chapter. Well done!

Greetings, our dear friend! Cathy and I send three "SALUTES," to you, and they are for your review of: (1) A Black Panther for Bret, (2) An Angel in the Meadow - Chapter 1, and (3) A Brown Recluse. Thanks for the reviews, kind words and taking the time to read our work. Best wishes and God Bless. Respectfully with Admiration, Cathy and Bill.

You certainly know how to write an action filled chapter. First a snake bite
and then a panther. Your characters need to stay inside. I am enjoying your story.

Great hearing from you. Oh, I don't write 'em--Cathy does! I just keep her quill wet with ink. Do you believe this? I didn't figure you would. Thanks for the review, kind words, and taking the time to read our work. All of which is an honor. Best wishes for an awesome weekend and God Bless.

Hey, guys!
Another interesting chapter, though it seemed weird that both of them had life-threatening injuries (from animals) at pretty much the same time.
Other notes:
1.) I was asking for trouble. "So what(?)" I thought.
2.) "Hi, Angel! . . . (C)an you hear me, Beautiful?
3.) A baby deer nursed (from) its momma while she ate
Otherwise, this was fine reading. Thanks a lot!

Once again, I enjoyed your skills and talent in writing an excellent chapter. It does in every manner has the recipe of a good scene, conflict, thoughts and looking ahead to the author's writing and sharing it with the reader for superb entertainment.

A triple cliffhanger! Oh! What to do what to do?! How can you do this to me! I came here expecting to read something interesting and got this... not just interesting but intriguing as well. Now I'm going to have to bookmark this to find out what happens later on. Your fault! :)

Hello, our dear friend. Look . . . a 3rd "SALUTE!" Thanks for the review, kind words and taking the time to read our work. All of which is an honor. Hmm! So, the "Triple Cliffhanger" is "YOUR" fault, huh? I'm so sorry; yet, Cathy made me do it--goody goody! FYI, Cathy (aka Tootie) and I (aka Commando) are co-authoring (1) An Angel in the Meadow, (2) Joined at the Hip, (3) My Jigsaw Puzzle and (4) Love Long Distance. We're posting "My Jigsaw Puzzle, Chapter 1" 2/15/20. We would appreciate your review and feedback. We look forward to reviewing your work as well. Best wishes for an awesome weekend and God Bless. I love to read your work. Snakes and panthers in your story brings wildlife to life (creatures). Although, I would not like to be bit by either one of them. Who was the woman who came and visited in the hospital when Angel was there? Did I miss something or was it a nurse?

Comment from Raffaelina Lowcock
The story is well written regarding Angel's placement to help you on your journey and the special feelings you have for each other. However, I found the paragraph after she wakes up and thanks God for the blessing of life, totally unrelated. There should be a transition from the hospital to wherever you are, under the Star of David. It doesn't seem to connect.
I have revised my rating. Yes, your edit is good.

Hi to the two of you. Certainly, a lot is going on in this chapter but I also think I've read it all before? Am I mistaken? Anyway, I will be looking out for the next chapter. Ulla:)))

I enjoyed reading this piece. There is so much action going on and at the same time we are allowed to share in the thoughts and prayers of the characters as they go through a life threatening ordeal. Well done.
