Hey Relda. This is an interesting piece of writing. I tried to keep up but you kept me on my toes. I could never understand time travel anyway. If I go there I can't come back without changing something and I would have to keep going back to fix what I had broken.
I just do it this way. When I write a story, I try to emulate Kurt Vonnegut. "Start as close to the end as possible."

Robert, you're a riot. Those paradoxes get you every time. Kurt Vonnegut quote is perfect!
Thank you for reading and reviewing.

You certainly illustrated 'stream of consciousness' writing. You begin thinking of something and it takes on a life of its own. Journaling is good for that too. But you never know a gem might be discovered in the process.

Hi, Tami - good to hear from you. Appreciate the review and comments.
I do keep a journal - part of daily devotions. You're right, it is truly stream of consciousness - often can't read it, afterwards, because I wrote it so fast. Thought about using voice recognition on my laptop, but it makes me self-conscious and I can't say a thing.
God bless and my best,

Thank you for taking us into your mental process of creating and writing. I admire your dedication. You must be a perfectionist! Until I got on this site, what I wrote is what I wrote and I was finished - fresh from the muse. Finally, I'm learning the value of re-writing!

Lyenochka (what a wonderful name) - thank you for your review and comments.
I know what you mean about rewriting. However, sometimes we get an inspiration straight from the Lord - I've found it best to leave those alone - He's the Word, after all ? the best author who ever lived.
God bless and my best,

Amen! You did a great job with this!

Time Travel in fiction I think I read that next year or the year after. Really this is a non-thinking think piece. I read this and think that this is me, except I do not plan, I write and rewrite and rewrite until I am satisfied with the story then hit Grammarly and spell check and save. Exceptional work.

Wow, non-thinking think piece - no better praise!
No plan? You're more daring than me. I do have to say, even with an outline, my rewrites go so confusingly off-track, that I have to re-outline the last draft, to get a handle on what I've written. Have to know that for the next rewrite.
Grammarly ... what a good idea.
Thanks, kindred soul.

Time Travel is what I write mostly. I've a trilogy published of two women who time travel, and I've posted the penultimate chapter today of my children's time travel. (the hero is my grandson!) I find time travel fascinating, whether I write pure fiction, or mix some with fact. Does time travel happen now? How do we know for sure that it doesn't? Some people seem to have the 'gift' of knowing what is to come; are they time travellers? Time is something we can't get hold of, so we let it run its course. But, we have no idea what it's hiding.
I loved this piece, Relda, you made me chuckle a few times, and think on others. I think you should do all your writing when you're bored, it's brilliant stuff! As for plots, I do one, and by the second chapter it's gone right out the window! lol. Well done, my clever friend. :)) Sandra xx

Sandra - thank you so much for such a thoughtful and enjoyable review.
Penultimate - a new word to me - thanks for introducing me to it!
I love time travel in any form of entertainment. I'll definitely check out your chapter.
Don't know if people time travel now. Don't have trouble believing the exceptional abilities of some people's - case in point, the Aboriginal's seem to possess uncanny mental and spiritual abilities - always been so interested in their culture. They seem such 'old souls.'
I'd like to time travel, myself.
God bless and my best,
Relda

I think you should time travel all you want. Perhaps you want to write something set in the past, or in the future. Even if you want to write non-fiction, most of it has already happened. It would be impossible to write entirely in the present. It's always changing.
5 should be five. Dates are OK, but other than that, numbers should be spelled out.

Oh, Cindy - you crafty girl ? nonfiction, most of it has already happened! What a hoot.
Thanks for the heads up. Never could get the numerals/letters bit straight in my head If I stop to google it I forget where I'm going. I'll put it on a sticky note and try to remember to consult it. Weird since the mechanics always seem to bug me.
God bless and my best.

I DID enjoy reading this, Relda. You wrote the first thing that came to mind and often that's the best for us to do. It IS predicted that when artificial intelligence gets its discerning intelligence it WILL write best sellers and WILL create the best art. However, humans do ultimately write for ourselves, don't we? And if someone else enjoys it, that's a big plus. Marilyn

Marilyn - thanks for the review and comments. It's a scary thought a computer off on a stream of consciousness spree - would it ever know when to stop?
You're absolutely right about why we write. And having a reader is a huge reward. Almost as fulfilling as sharing writing with someone else you feels the same.

:Your stream of consciousness made me smile. Still I was able to follow you rambling and relate. I think all writing is a time travel. I travel mostly back in time when I write and try to relive the parts that I enjoy and turn the bad parts into something that makes other perple smile. Good job. It sounds like you had fun writing this.

Thanks so much for reviewing and commenting. I had no idea if this piece had any appeal. It was satisfying to me, but ?
You are absolutely right and you put it in a nut-shell. It is time travel.

Your stream of consciousness is quite interesting, although a bit difficult to follow (which is I feel true for everyone's stream of consciousness). As I see it, everything that was, is or will be, exists at the same time and we can just tap into it from time to time, in moments when we stop trying to label time the way we see fit. Time warping and twisting in a black hole sounds like a cool idea to me. Honestly, this sounds so relatable and I enjoyed reading it although I might have a headache from trying to follow everything. :)

Hi - so glad you read it and love your comments. It was hard for me to follow too! You have a great perspective about time travel. Works for me.
Sorry for the headache. Take two aspirins and call the doctor tomorrow morning!
I appreciate you.

"Staying put is hard to do?"
Was well written and rich in Theme and Imagery.
It read well and Flowed well with no Grammar Issues.
...
The Adjective and Objective Contents were both Excellent and Exceptional while Descriptive Measures aligned Perfectly.
Thanks,
