I see that we had an alternate tanka at the ready.... or that we had to choose from...?! ;) :) Loved this one, too, although I'm glad you went with the 'passionate' one! :) Thanx for sharing! ;) Yvette

LoL! I think this one has a few too many syllables to be a true tanka! Glad you enjoyed my sad little piece! xoxo

Hi Diana,
Wow, the very title and pic here is instantly haunting and aching,
sad it is indeed how some events in our lives could fill many a
bottle of our futile tears, if not wells or oceans! Either way, no
matter the amount of tears, where they fall, or land, we are never
the same afterwards. Quite relateable indeed. Thanks for sharing.
Love the music tune! Perfect for mood and theme.
Blessings always, Ronni

This is one of those postings that really touches readers and causes us to ponder further about certain past unhappy events that might still be affecting our lives today in negative ways. Some things might never be erased from memory, but we can move toward any ongoing affect that is detrimental. This is a short poem, but still powerful.

"Tears in a Bottle"
Beautiful tis Thee.
Unfortunately sometimes things don't work out the way we want and we cry so many endless tears enough to fill an ocean
...
This was well written and rich in Theme and Imagery.
It read well and Flowed well with no Grammar Issues.
..
Adjective and Objective Contents were both Excellent and Exceptional while Descriptive Measures aligned.
Thanks,

Beautiful. This music has a heavely sound to it as if I'm there right now. Nice and long, too. The Lord captures our tears and makes then His. As always, I am loving this one as much as all the others. I apologize for no six, as it is worthy, dear poetress. :))
Sending you my best today as always,

Tears in a bottle is a captivating feeling within your poem. Have you ever watched the movie, Message In a Bottle? It's such a touching story about a couple who in the end lost each other.

I love the picture you picked to go with this piece. It makes me sad taking me back to a time when my heart was broken and all I could do was cry till there were no more tears left to come out.

Well you go girl! This is a lovely write with all those T sounds. A unique way to present an idea as well. I'm listening to the Weekend while reviewing and writing tonight. I'll stop and listen to yours cause I love it when an author gives a reader a full experience. Night and sweet dreams.

You have done an excellent job in the penning of this free verse "Tear is a Jar." Perfect artwork for the words you have penned. I found this to be a most enjoyable read and the message is well received.

This is a sad write Diana and certainly describes sorrow with all its accompanying tears. I'm not sure I would want to preserve them in a bottle as I would rather they dry quickly, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

It?s kind of a spiritual thing as the bottle is given to God who will one day wipe all our tears away. I got a fee bottle saved up over my many years on this earth! Ha! Thank you always! xoxo
-
My bottle would be overflowing if I had saved all my tears Diana! I have shed so many over the years. Love Dolly x
