This is a great truth that the Lord Jesus laid down His Life for us to save us motivated by His amazing Love. As for the poem, this would be considered a 5-7-5 but not a "haiku" because that has so many other rules.

That love was either met or topped by the love that our dear Heavenly Father who allowed his only begotten son, the son that he lovingly created, taught, trusted and openly approved of, to give his precious life so that the people who grieved the father's heart over and over again, might be save and not face destruction and everlasting cutting of. That is a love that cannot be surpassed.

Well written and beautifully presented. Certainly can't argue with the message. I'm sure that some of the purists will not think this fits a Haiku, which is typically about nature; maybe more of a Senryu. In any event...I liked it!
