Dear fellow poet, Thank you for posting this beautiful tribute to your Mother on behalf of all of us who remember our Mothers with affection and gratitude.
I only wish this genre allowed you to write many verses about your special relationship and memories. Such permission would so enrich this poem, that can only hint at something very special.

I asked my mom where and how did she come up with my name. She told me, she would listen to a soap opera on the radio called "Portia Faces Life" this is how I can to be named Portia
