It sounds like Pons is more money-oriented, and Ned is more practical-oriented. I like the conversational tone in this script. I think I recognized all the pop culture/animated dog references. Nice share.

Another good Pons and Ned story.
Well told and entertaining.
I look forward to the next part, and seeing what Ned actually gets for a pet.
Well done.

You make me laugh so much, Bill... HuLU-hoop! LOLOL I'm still giggling... You've got such a great sense of humor. I haven't any idea where you come up with such things but I'm sure glad that you do! You're a fantastic entertainer! I wish I still had a 6. :)

Nice story and I like talking parrots too:) but a talking puppy, that will be something. The narrative of the story flows easily through dialogue and gives different scenarios and option to follow the threat of the story: talking parrot - checked; talking puppy we narrowed down the breed:) Thank you for sharing and good luck with the next scene.

Thanks for the memories--I don't have pets anymore since we live in a condo--but I do have bird feeders to successfully attract the critters. I enjoyed your dialog and use of vernacular, especially "neckativical". Cheers- Joan

I'm for Ned getting a dog. There might be something to having a parrot, because I think they live pretty long lives. A dog would give Ned unconditional love regardless of how he pronounces things. (Doesn't everyone say hulahoop?) Pons should get Ned out of that pricey pet shop and take him to an animal shelter. There he would find a dog that would speak to him, asking Ned to take him home. Great interactions between Ned and Ponz. Ponz seems to be humoring Ned at times about the talking parrot but does try to explain that there are no talking dogs. We'll see where this heads, but I hate to see Ned spending a lot of money on some pricey animals when there are so many worthy homeless pets out there. judi

Well it looks like one thing is consistent, Ned is not getting much smarter as time goes by. While he is not the sharpest knife in the drawer, at least he is not a danger to accidentally cut anyone.

The parrot may teach him something.

Mr. Peabody, lol I use to watch him and Sherman years ago. Not sure I'd want Brian for a pet. The script is well-written, believable, nice job as always.

Does Ned really want to spend that much money on pets? He'd have to feed and care for them, too. I'm betting that parrot really does know how to talk though. You'll show us. I'm sure!
