I thought the gondolier was a bit out of left-field but, as always, it's expertly done. We had a few days in Venice once. I shouldn't have been surprised, but I was, to see barges filled with rubbish and even the mail being delivered via the canals.

I guess Alberto doesn't want a div-oars. Sounds like it's 'high tide' for him to go home and help with housework. I think I heard ru-moars that the water level has been too high of late. Thank you for posting a funny gondolier selection.

Oh, I'm glad you explained the "venezia" pun as I was wracking my brains over that one. I guess the "sinking" is really "thinking" and I hope he can salvage his marriage!

You made a cute story out of the gondolier! Ah, those girls, he's tempted alright, but he's got to get home to the Senora and the VENETIAN BLINDS! I love it. I think the Senora landed a good one. He will never play Bridge with those senoritas!
