Your poem is short and succinct. "Intent" is not at the heart of the matter, though politicians would make it so... You so rightfully remind us that the many innocent, unsuspecting lost souls--as young as one year of age had their very lives snuffed out by weapons that are only as safe as the fallible humans who manage them-- May they all rest in God's loving arms.--Karenina

I believe that God who thinks so much more of men than he does a mere sparrow, notices when a sparrow falls from he sky.

I like the message conveyed in this. You've laid it out plain so that their is no guesswork by what you mean. I don't see anything good coming from war, just death as you've so eloquently stated. You're also correct about people being afraid to fly. Thanks for sharing this informative and well written work. Well done!

You spoke your opinion on this crucial matter and that's what is important, stating facts and questionable scenarios.
you just can't believe the first column in the newspaper without listening for more facts. we need to read between the lines. Whats so different from the two towers and this plane brought down? Vengeance with no backbone to own it, capable of anything.

With blood stained hands the unmerciful will still try to deny their culpability in brutal acts such as this.

This is a simple poem, but the message is conveyed clearly in the words you chose. Acts of war or similar are always tragic and the victims always innocent. Keep writing.

Hello nomi338I can see by reading your poem. I liked the way you ended your poem about the tragic attack of the missile that killed 169 passengers and the pilot.
People wonder why, some choose not to fly
Too many planes, are falling from the sky .

Yes, the increasing number of planes falling from the sky serve to make many a little skittish about climbing aboard.

I don't think they would deliberately kill Iranians, but the cover up really turned their people against them.
I think you captured the essence in your poem . . . sigh. It's becoming a more dangerous world year by year. Hugs, Lou

Thank you. The Bible even offer consolation in that there is a hoped for resurrection for the innocent in the very near future.

Yes, will it reach the point that all travel--in the air and on the ground--is consistently unsafe? Your concise poem sends a powerful message about
countries that cause deaths--then basically say "OOPS!"

Yes, but I also believe that the hammer of justice will eventually fall where it should. Thank you for your review comments.

Yes, God is still in charge.

I do like this poem for its thematic subject.
Nine lines have been sufficient to question about nowadays' important problems: plane killing doubts in Iran, people's flying fears, the useless apologies of the warlords and the carelessness of the dead souls shot. A Great work.

How true How true, on both counts, if this gets passed off as an accident then murder is accidental, and yes through intent and or neglect way to many planes are falling, an excellent read, very well done****kahpot
