L2/P3 reads redundant. Not sure the first sentence necessary? Geared towards younger readers this story should fascinate them. Seems the gnomes were anxious to have him perform the ceremony and excited . Holds interest throughout.

This reminds me of the otherworld in The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. I see they have opened up the chamber and will be stepping into the land of gnome sunshine very soon. A fantasy delight! As always, a magical and fun read.

Oh, you stopped too soon!! (sad face) We didn't progress very far with this chapter. Good description of Nicholas trying to work out the secret of the cabinet and the dialogue is realistic - not that I'd know any different but it reads well. lol

I thoroughly enjoyed in as I move further into it.
I realized that it was very rich in Theme, as well as Imagery.
I would know grammar problems here and it flowed very well.

I admire your propensity to create and a somewhat natural ability to write of beings who are half in this realm, and half in another one as well. Great character, with a seemingly ancient 17 year old being the important grounds man in the series. Fascinating characters Yvette, you've done a fantastic job with this, well done, blessings, Roy

I appreciate the setting and the story even though I am not the targeted audience. The Irishness, which is always irresistible to many, comes through very well. Some folks that I know claim they have actually seen gnomes--so this was more welcomed information about that. Maybe a pint of Guinness will help.
