I believe that you followed the 5-7-5 requirements for a senru.

" razor-like words" ... great pictorial word choice for your poem.

I think this is a good entry for the "Senryu" writing prompt.
Your verse tells of redirecting hurt through words.

You have made excellent use of all of your syllables in this piece that
identifies a common fact about people--the tendency to BE mean when treated badly. Janet Leigh in the sketch--right?

You have a fascinating illustration to compliment your poem. I feel it is better to respond with "razor-like words " than it is to remain sullen and not to release the pressure. Good entry and good luck.

Very interesting and true. Great picture. I think people that have been hurt a lot do not know kindness. So they only know to hurt others. Good luck in the contest.

I believe that some people do that. They're in so much pain that that they have to take it out on someone. I like the message of this and enjoyed reading this well written work. Well done!
