Katy, thank you so much for writing this as I know it couldn't have been easy. We all grieve and mourn your mom's leaving us. But I know that she's soaring with the angels and basking in the Lord's presence. She's exploring and doing all that she loved to do on a whole new level and probably mentoring others, too. Sending hugs and prayers. I'm so grateful I got to know your mom!

She was certainly well liked and had many friends. I saw earlier this morning that she wasn't doing well and it was only a matter of time. There will be a hole on here without but I do hope she's able to live her best life now. An angel is with us for sure.

A great poem by a great person. Phyllis was a friend. They are few and hard to replace. She was one of a kind. I posted a poem about her titled Heaven's Newest Angel

Your mother was a talented woman who wrote fine poetry and stories.
The poem you posted seemed to tell us that she had a good life. She
