My thoughts and prayers are with you and all of your family.
This is always a hard time, even when it seems to have offered relief to the one who's ailing.

Now this really made me cry. God Love her she had a lust for life and enjoyed the time she was allotted. She was a great person and well loved by all her friends. I will never forget her. We were more or less cell mates, for I am in the same boat she was in. Oxygen 24/7.Only outing is to the Doctor. God Bless you and Mark, Katy. Goodbye to Phyllis, Goodbye. Nancy:)

Dear Katy and Mark, I am so sorry for the lose of your mother...tears...she will be so missed around here...I am so going to miss her lovely Penguin poems...Penny, Petey, PaPa, Patty, and Mama...and all her beautiful poetry...and stories...she made me smile...I am heartbroken...thank you for posting this poem...evening as I cry...I know from the poem she had a good life...all my prayers go out to you both...and all your family and friends...she has now gone home...and is now Resting In Peace...so many of us on the site wish we could meet...but knowing most likely that will never happen...and that is ok.... we know we will meet in Heaven...and all of us will come together...she will meet FanStory's passed, but not forgotten writers...and FanStory will live on in Heaven...God Bless...my love for her goes with her...Linda xxoo

You mother will be greatly missed! I miss her already. We spoke back and forth many times regarding our circumstances and health. FanStory has provided the same outlet for me as I have been progressively losing my eyesight. Your mom's posts always brought humor to my day.
Please accept my condolences in your great loss. I sent morning prayers up today for you and your family.

A loss for all of us, she was a private person and yet she was always there to help all of us. I remember all the times she helped me as I fought her kicking and screaming all the way, but always telling her how much I appreciated her help in my growth. My prayers and pride to you and your family

Katy, my condolences on the loss of your mom (I can see by your note that you inherited some of her writing talent). I'm sure you've heard from many on Fanstory - let me add my name to the list of people she touched, and who admired her even though we never met her. Particularly touching were the times she would mention, in a post or in a note, what a wonderful husband she had.
Having lost my own mom a few months back, I know the hole it leaves, but I also know that the good parts never really leave you. I wish you peace.

I was deeply saddened to hear about your mom. My thoughts and prayers go out to you, your dad and the entire family.

The last stanza of this poem that she wrote pretty well says it all. I pray that I can have the same courage as your mom writes about when it's time to take my Heavenly flight.

I told your father we would be creating a multi-author book to collect and hold the individual tributes from members here at FS in one place. That's just begun and it will slowly and steadily be filling day by day.
