You did a good job with this complex style, BL. I enjoyed reading it. Your words are descriptive with much imagery and good facts. I like your picture choice, too. I have never seen such a long empty black space on FS. Maybe you could go back to the edit page and make sure to use advanced editor--then scroll down to 'show advanced options. The select medium from the drop down choices. Maybe it will fix it--not sure as I have never had this happen. Be sure and SAVE. Respectfully with Love and Admiration, Jan

I think this is a nicely written verse telling of the hardships of survival for some.
This verse is well rhymed, and ending each stanza with "Life or Death" helps to engrain the seriousness of survival.

I love this poem. It's such a unique topic to choose to write about and it is so educational which I find wonderful. One little thing that I am not sure if it's about my computer or that you put in the poem is a long black space I had to scroll down to comment. Anyways, a wonderful poem to read with such a nice topic. It's great that readers can enjoy the beauty of the poem as they learn.

I like the originality of this piece that emits a balance of creative expression and facts to the life of penguins. It brought out a sense of realism and personification of the species with reader's appeal. Well done
