What a perfect combination of art and poetry. Your 5-7-5 already has me wistfully awaiting Spring. I especially liked reading this aloud because of the many B and D sounds employed. Rod

Very nice poem, not fiction as your category suggests, with some 'd' alliteration going on with emphasized words: dormant, departs, drooping. Several of us would like to move forward to spring, too. Nice photo choice.
