Another superb punny boyfriend, Lisa. I really like these fifty worders because there is no messing around getting the story out, clearly and with great wit.
Most entertaining and can't wait for the next.

A very well-written fifty word flash about the choice we make that sometimes backfire on us, but it seems the baker is a good choice there will at least always something sweet to eat.

You are something! I really enjoyed this. So amusing. Gave me a giggle. Your play on words is outstanding. You deserve a sixer for this one, but I don't have one. Marilyn

LOL This guy sounds like a keeper! And there will always be bread on the table, although, man does not live on bread alone! Maybe she could get a sugar daddy who runs a meat market!
Luv,
Patty

Thanks for your review, Patty. A butcher will be making an appearance one of these days.

Very clever Lisa. I enjoyed reading and laughing at all of your bread puns especially the one about the " Bun in the oven" and opportunity laying in "the yeast" and not the west. Very funny story well done .

You're welcome Lisa.

This fifty-word story, Life with a Baker, does leaven-y thing to the imagination. The baker gave her flours, had a roll, and is now doing what the butcher and candlestick maker refused to do.

This is well penned and nice to see a real provider since they seemed to be rolling in dough. Well done and thank you very much for sharing it.

Ha, ha! I counted seven puns in only 50 words. That's packing them in {thumbs up}.
I guess Lucy was taken by his dough-eyed smile. I think she should have used her loaf.
Thanks for the chuckles {smiles}.
