This is one of your best writes, LisaMay. I love your character; prissy, half deaf and lecherous has to be a winning combination. I think you should name her. She's a keeper
Well done

I love the clever idea for this write. It takes a special person to come up with something this clever. Many blessings for a good week.,

LOL - this was so much fun to read, Lisa. On a serious note, perhaps you need to get your ears fixed. I have a suspicion you're not hearing all that well. Just joining in the fun. A very clever read. Hugs, Lou

What? Did you say something? Speak up please. I'm just off to the Leaning Tower of Pizza for lunch so you'll have to be quick.

Sounds like a travelogue written by Ned Knuckeled. Those sites would definitely not place high on anyone's list. If someone suggested Hoover --Damn!, I'd probably not go.

Thanks for reviewing, Bill. Hoover Dam is a good one to avoid, too.

We're going to China in May and are going to take our chances at visiting the Forbidden City. Perhaps it will be 'unforbidden' by the time we get there. With luck, they'll have found the lost warriors by then too. lol

How exciting! The Forbidden City is marvellous - so much rich detail to enjoy, and imagine the lifestyle. So you are going to Xian too? That warriors site is intriguing.
-
Yes, I think so. It's an arranged tour so we can just sit back and do as we're told.
-
And you will be told. There's not much 'free' time in China. We were on motorbikes so we did have a bit of sense of freedom, but when Roger overtook the lead van with the tour guide in it so he could enjoy the corners better he got told off for not staying behind it.
-
Haha. I can imagine they wouldn't want someone overtaking the leader!

A very well-written poem about traveling the world had become a very expensive luxury for the normal people like me. With modern technologies I can see all those places in my living room at the click of a button.

Travelling is a hassle - armchair travelling is so much more comfortable (and cheaper).

Hi LisaMay. That is an interesting itinerary if you were to follow it. Any one of them would be a bad venture as you have described it. I wouldn't want to go to any of those places either. Robert

Maybe the Leaning Tower Of Pizza would be more to our taste.
-
Yeah. I always wanted to go eat pizza at the leaning tower of Pisa

Lol. A world traveler like you probably already saw all those places (pronounced properly!) Thanks for the fun word play and I do hope you enjoy a staycation even without the mess of the sand at home.

Thanks for your review. I have actually been to 7 of the places; haven't been to Yellowstone, Mt Rushmore or Angkor Wat. Yep, that sand would not be worth the mess, with or without the travel agent for company.
