Your little dragons come to life. You have excellent dialogue skill! I found the ending well-done and sad...such is real life as well. I loved the squabble where Black and Red nearly cooked each other--so funny a line. A most enjoyable reading experience!
Suggestion:
Once up in the branches, they were able to use their claws to hang on (( , )) and their wings to maintain balance.

I'm new to fanstory and this is one of the first book chapters I've read. Even though I don't know the whole story, I feel like I caught on the the gist of your characters through your well written dialogue. My only note is that technically "dragons joined in happily" should be "happily joined in." Otherwise a delightful read .

Thanks. Purple is a cave dragon. She doesn't fly, so she really isn't safe anywhere else.

I know it was a sad day for all of them. To have to say goodbye to someone that you've known from a hatchling is quite sad I'm sure. It's good though that they're honing there skills and getting a sense of identity. I'm enjoying this saga and eagerly look forward to the next installment. Great job and well done!

I enjoyed the episode of Aaron and his nurturing of the dragons to be able to care for themselves, I'm not sure how they were as they were, but I've always enjoyed mythical tales, and this was really absorbing, with lots of perceptive indicators to help with the storyline and characters, both are fascinating, well done Cindy, good taling. Thanks. The dragons are growing up, and pretty soon Aaron will need them. I think after a few more chapters I'll do a book balloon so readers who have missed a few chapters can catch up.

Thanks. Aaron is still the main character in the story. The purple dragon won't be around so much, but she won't disappear.

The preparations continue. Aaron has to help the dragons develop their individual skills fast, before it's too late. There's a sense it won't be long before they need them. Once again, good development of the differences between the dragons and easy, natural dialogue.

Thanks. He's honing their skills for a reason, and even helping them develop some that may not come naturally. You're right, they're going to need them.

Why does Purple have to go? This so sad. I guess they can't all stay together with Aaron forever, but I never gave any thought they'd be leaving. Another excellent chapter with such vivid details, I can see it all happening before my eyes.

Thanks. Purple is a cave dragon. She doesn't fly. Aaron has a battle coming up, and he can't keep protecting her. Should the invaders light fires, she'd be helpless. Besides, she can't be walking around in the snow. By winter, she'd leave quite a trail. She'll be OK.
