"Calamitous Poppycock", is an extremely well-written and deftly descriptive piece. This talented poet has, with craft and well-honed skill told it as it is. This is a six, but I'm never given enough of them! I look forward to seeing your next post.

I find this charming and with many words that can mean many things. The artwork is beguiling a catch pool of emotions and sights... Really find this entrancing and worthy of thought given. Very good poetry from a fine poet.

Why do I sense meaning in this nonsensical muse? I especially liked the second stanza. Life is one big fish bowl, is it not? Sigh. Love the artwork you chose!

Well this is a lot of nonsense as the prompt requires, YM. Even with that, you still incorporate several technique of poetry writing--alliteration, rhyme, and imagery. Thanks for sharing this bit of nonsense that is well-written. Respectfully with Love, Jan

You met the requirements. This is certainly a nonsense poem.

For example: Blue and brushed pink - not much, I think,

I have no idea what you're talking about.

This is the first nonsense poetry entry I have read that I feel is actually a poem. It has rhymes, makes sense, and flows well. Good luck in the contest.

Great poem. Since I worked while earning an engineering degree my resonance to this poem is based on dreams; but, I enjoyed it and wish you well in the contest.

This is cleverly rhymed and full of dreams and mystique and a bit like Alice in Wonderland as that always seemed nonsensical, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

It's more of an emotional Jabberwocky without the made-up words...lol! Thank you for your fun review, Dolly!

I think this is a lovely poem. Here are my favorite true nonsense lines: Whisp'ring bamboo comes wand'ring through
'Midst my chagrin and mussed sheepskin.
The rest of the poem is like a whimsical Valentine poem. I think the art reminds me of surreal art. This is the kind of poem that could be entered in more than one category. Very nice.

Oh, Crystie, you are wonderful!! I call this my romantic's version of Jabberwocky without so much made up words! Seriously, I just took a general emotional train and jumped on board with the internal/external rhyme for each line (keeping the train on track with word choices was a bit more of a challenge!) -- glamorous gibberish, I'm calling it and I'm so glad it made you smile! ;) If it does well, I may try a few more! Thank you for this awesome review and those shining stars!
