I'm glad you chose something from a FanArtReview artist. I try to whenever I can find something appropriate. That is a great owl. Why would you lie to an owl? You know they're so wise they'll find you out in the long run. judi

I certainly hope that you remember to wipe away the remnants of that omelet from around your mouth before you answer. Also, remember t dispose of the tell tale egg shells that expose you as a greedy liar.

One actually has to immediately run away, as you are never believed.

This is a very cute 5-7-5 poem you have penned about lying to the Owls. You used very cute imagery from the art work you chose and very cute words. I enjoyed reading and reviewing this. Blessings, Teri

You deliver a well penned and technically sound 5-7-5 with correct line and syllable count throughout. The content is simple, yet leaves the reader wondering if those eggs suffered an untimely poaching. Well done and thank you very much for sharing it.

How do barn owl eggs taste? Are they smaller than chicken eggs? Aren't owls wise enough to know when you're lying to them? I'd think so.

You can?t get anything by them at night, but during the day they?re mostly out of it.

Oh, no! What did you do to the barn owl's eggs, Bill? Poor barn owl. It's a gorgeous owl but it's not a barn owl unless Bluto Bird stole the barn owl's eggs.

I suppose I ought to know the Lord of the Pink Rabbit Planet is going to puzzle me every time. Yet still I come, and pit my pitiful understanding against your complex verse.

You are so kind to check this out, Sallyo. There is no deep meaning here though. Bill

Nice poem, I like it. Lying to owls is a good skill I guess if you have to hide their eggs. Thanks for sharing this and have yourself a really great day

Thank you, Oliver. I often point to squirrels when owls ask WHO.
