So much invented righteous anger! As if the world isn't mad enough on its own without imagining more reasons for it to be batshit crazy. Lol! I'm afraid I just can't get myself riled about imaginary victims, Bob. Not when real prejudice still exists. And the pendulum of political correctness has swung so far left, it's starting to come back with a vengence. That's why the world is so very divided. I don't know if I'm ready to see the humour in it yet.
Hope you're having a good winter in Portugal. I bet the weather is wonderful down on the Algarve. Enjoy yourself, old friend.

Thanks. A little less of the old, thanks. The algarve is quite a way from where we live. In the hills of central Portugal it's struggling to hit the teens, though this week has been dry.
As for the crazy world, I think it's easier to highlight its madness in fiction. At one removed it's easier to have a rational thought, but if it doesn't float your boat, I'm sorry. Thanks as ever for sticking with it

I haven't read any of the other chapters but really enjoyed this. I thought it was very well-written with authentic dialogue and a good flow. I didn't find any spags.

It is difficult for me to put the attention it needs to this story about abuse. Animal abuse is one thing, and it is different than a human abusing another in terms of gender, sexual intercourse and race. Here we are talking about specie abuse using terms common to human abuse. Any abuse is wrong in my eyes. Some say complete separation, but that's impossible because the two types can breed successfully. What's left is integration and that is a long difficult process. You can't wave a fairy wand and say abracadabra now we are all hunky-dory. Fairy dust, if modified, may work. Well done.
