but I love cold turkey - it's better cold than hot. That's a terribly funny photo - how do people find these great shots. Watch out, the dog's tongue could get stuck???

    Lol. I actually took 2 different pictures from Google Images and worked them together with my art program to come up with this silly pic. Thank you for the great review and generous stars, Gail. I admire your resourcefulness! How in the world did you do that? Did you just put a coat on your Turkey? Ingenious! You should write more poetry of that caliber!

This is really cute. I love the turkey in his little coat. It is the perfect picture to go with your haiku. The haiku is perfect for the upcoming holiday. Good job!

I love this 5-7-5 and did indeed chuckle at your play on words. Yes, Thanksgiving itself is great because of FAMILY BEING THERE, but those replays the next 1-3 days do become tiresome. We don't eat turkey again until sometime the next spring. Rod

Well done on the verse and the picture, which is seamless as far as I can see. Quitting cold turkey could mean lots of things, especially for a turkey who might appreciate a nice warm parka!
