Hey Sally, this is indeed a lovely nonet about life and its fruitfulness, plants, and humans. I liked the sapling image and you are so right, the most sacred and valuable actions we make are our promises to God. They are for me, and I know they are for you too. And in my experience, He is faithful and returns in full, pressed down and overflowing.
Thanks for pointing me in the direction of your lovely nonet. I love the shape it makes on the page and the imagery and accompanying picture make this a beautifully present piece of poetry and thanks for sharing it, Eve.
