A very well-written acrostic poem about Christmas time. First of all we must remember it is all about Jesus Christ who came to save us from our sins through our faith in Him.

Hello Sandra, Amen to your comments. We have to give Him the glory, vacations are fine but at least remember why we celebrate. I know lots don't recognise Christ and have their own beliefs. But, we have our faith in Him, as you say. Thanks, Kace XXX

And yet - and yet - it's hard to find a faith-based and true account of what Christmas actually means and what it is. Boggles the mind how people can celebrate this "holiday" which would not be at all without Christ.
Good poem

Hi Gail, I'm waiting for them to take the Christ out of Christmas; maybe call it Vacation Day? Thank you for reading and we walk by faith not deeds. Bless you, Kace XX

Hi Kace,
I have just said these same sentiments in another review. The meaning of Christmas is not celebrated anymore. We should abandon Christmas for a few years and the re-introduce it for its proper meaning. I am not even sure if children know what Christmas is.
I liked your poem very much.

Hello friend Brenda! How goes your weather? We are in crisis in Oz, fifty-five fires out of control. I think if we did what you suggested, Christ would never be reinstated. I agree, children wouldn't have a clue who Jesus is. In Oz, schools don't have a Nativity Scene anymore (Catholic Church would) it's crazy. People walk away from God then expect Him to do their bidding? Having a rant today. Makes me mad. I am going to the Christmas Carols and sing my heart out for the Lord! See ya later alligator XXX Kace,

Such a beautiful and timely acrostic offering - wonderfully written with rhyme and inspiration! ;) I would only suggest, perhaps, popping back in an 'bolding' the font (and perhaps using the next size up!) of the first letter in each line to make the 'acrostic' clearer... ;) Thanx for sharing and good luck in the contest! ;) :)

G'day Y.M, Nope, not changing a font, it's that way so you have to squint to really read my writing, Hee, Hee. Should have gone to Specsavers Y.M. Thank you for your kind comments.

Congratulations on this beautiful, meaningful piece. I'm not religious myself, but my mum is very involved in the church and poems such as these remind me of her and make me smile. Good luck with the competition!

Hello Kace, this is a well constructed Acrostic on a lovely Christmas theme.
Christmas in some ways has lost it's true meaning - you express this in your author notes. The true meaning you have versed beautifully in your acrostic. Good luck in the contest and warm wishes, Dorothy xx

Hello Dorothy, I'm glad you agree with my writing. It makes me sad that Jesus isn't thought of. Even our schools have forbade Nativity Scenes? I guess the Catholics still have them. Blessings, Kace.

K, this is a great Acrostic poem entry for the contest. It is spiritually uplifting and perfect for this time of year with the coming festive season... or anytime of year really, to remind people to be open and have faith in the Lord. Excellent. ~DD

This is a very nicely composed acrostic, Kace. Content is appropriate and respectful of the Lord for Christmastime or anytime. Good word choices and you've even made it rhyme. Well done. Best of luck in the contest. Marilyn
