Well we learn something every day when we read so many poems. Here I now know about a new candy that I have never heard of, before today. The poem is nicely crafted and gets it's point across. The picture is helpful since it shows the candy and is artfully put together.

Hello mystery writer. I have not thought of horehound candy for 60 years. Your grouping of four 5-7-5 poems is well-written and rings the memory bell with me. When I would have a sore throat my grandmother would give me horehound candy and until the sore throat went away I would be sucking on those things day and night. A long time ago there was a company that made the lozenges. They were the Smith Brothers. That goes back to the late 50s good luck in the contest.

Interesting poem - interesting candy - always thought it was a cross between candy and a cough drop - I've only tried it a couple times. Some swear by it. I love candy - but didnt' get around to this contest.

Very good. I do not recall ever having tasted this particular kind of candy. I have heard and read about it and its unusual taste. At this point in my life, I do not believe that I would even be tempted to try it. Nonetheless, congratulations on meeting the challenge.
