Many kudos on winning the Romance Contest. I admired your use of the acrostic form plus your presentation and image to accentuate it. I enjoyed your rhymes and wordplay with "rain" followed by "weather". Cheers- Joan

Nothing compares to two people meeting and instantly feeling that vibrant knowledge that clicks into a stunning rapport. Where else would you feel so alive and full of anticipation. The poem is lovely depicting the best of love and the picture enhances it so well.

I particularly liked the line:
"Only our love can stop the rain, there's nothing we can't weather"
It's a great metaphor, so indicative of the optimism of romantic love {smiles}.

You have captured the exhilaration of finding a new love and describing the promise of such a find, and all within the acrostic title as well. Nicely done. In your second to last line I felt you might have diluted the strength of rest of your poem by assigning the power to "stop the rain" to him, only, rather than the unity of the two of you together "weathering" whatever might come, but, again, your enthusiasm carries the momentum. You have done a great job.
