I think if we don't have transportation available we are just stuck in the house. So I'm thinking we would really miss the motor car. I'm not sure I would want to fly in a car. A plane is all right. But I'm for climate change. Which I think the younger generation know more about than our generation.

I wanted to give you a heads-up. The contest announce says there are requirements for length. Minimum 350 words, maximum 500. This piece needs an edit.

Can we indeed ever fall out of love with our cars. I know my husband is just crazy about his truck. You would think it is another person. Then again I myself have a car in the yard that does not run but will not get rid of. So who am I to say anything.

Dear Mystery Writer,
This is an interesting piece that got my head spinning. There are so many moving parts to the argument about climate change and the damage man is doing to Mother Earth, I'm surprised that anyone can boil the issue down to one particular problem, such as the automobile.
No. I don't think the human race is going to fall out of love with the car anytime soon. But then, I don't personally think the car is our biggest problem, either. (Call me crazy, I guess.) There are so many other things ahead of that, imo. But this has certainly gotten me to thinking. Nice job!
One note:
1.) How on earth then are (we) ever going to help our planet heal
Thanks for sharing and good luck. This was really well written!
