This is great news, Sandra. I love the cover and just in case your grandson wonders I started working on my Rubik's Cube about twenty years ago and I am just about finished. So his record 40 seconds is amazing!

How do you get published so fast? It takes me forever to get published. I go through three editors and still once I'm trying to get it ready for publishing it still takes forever. I will search it out. Good luck.

I have some wonderful retired friends who have volunteered to be Beta readers and go over my work, one was in the printing trade and goes through my manuscripts line by line just in case I've missed anything after they and you Fanstorians have done their editing. Also, I have a grandson whose first question is, 'It is finished yet, Nanna?' from the very first page! Bless him. Thank you so much, Barbara, I really appreciate your review. :)) Sandra xxx

Aw, Joy, I'm as bad, I've had so much on these last few months. No forgiveness is necessary. Yes, I self published Eric's books, I'd be waiting forever to find a publisher who would even look at the first word! He'd be a grandfather himself if I waited! I am so pleased for you that the book is out and that Eric is doing much better at the new school. There is often a compensatory talent in such cases. I couldn't sort one of those cubes out in fifty years never mind fifty seconds.

We are going on a cruise to Barbados from Southampton and flying home, on the 25th this month until 10th November. I'll be taking my little lap top with me in the hope I can get a signal at sea, I'm sure I will. If I can't, I'll be catching up as soon as I get home. I am loving your story, and I've just seen that you won. I am totally happy for you, Jim. I won every time with my first novel This Time -That Time, and quite a few for the second one. You enjoy this, it is such a unique story, Big hugs, my friend, and humongous CONGRATULATIONS!!!

HURRAH! I haven't been on FanStory most of this year but I'm finally pushing myself to do some writing and reviewing.
I'm so happy Eric has found the way to be able to read and write. My Lisa had some dyslexia and at first, wrote her whole name backwards. It took 4 long years before she really learned how to handle the funny numbers and letters she saw.
I got her hooked on The Magic of Xanth series by Piers Anthony. The book are chock full of puns and magic abilities (like growing ears on walls)!
Well, anyway, I'm glad you are doing well. And I loved that book!

I had a school friend who wrote everything backwards. I knew nothing about dyslexia at that time, I was about 10 years old. (a very long time ago) I thought she was really clever to be able to do that! Now I know what her problem was. I wonder if they knew about dyslexia then, it would be about 65 years ago.
