Very effective dribbling. Loved the story and I guessed it had to be a pirate ship to face such a terrible sea and maybe its doom. Great contest entry.

What an exciting flash fiction. And, it is beautifully written. I love your obsidian mountain waves and your slowly rising tentacles. I was engaged with every word. I do have to ask though, what is the significance of Kracken and why do you use it for both the title and descriptive line? This is just my curiosity. Your story is great.
