Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

-Very nice image, Sally.
-I really like this story.
-You pull at our heart strings
by using the voice of this
precious girl.
-Through your examples, you
show us how much she loves
her father and wants him to be happy.
-It would make her happy, too.
-This is a winner in my book-
Good Luck!

Hello Sally, my friend. This site never ceases to amaze me, dribble flash fiction? As if 75 or 100 words wasn't restrictive enough, now we're down to 50? Anyway, I think you've done a wonderful job executing it. This is a first for me, but it was adorably cute and very sad at the same time. Good job and good luck in the contest.

Hello to you, dear poet. I?m so pleased you enjoyed this. It?s hard to know what to do with so few words, but hopefully, I?m getting better at this. Sending you my best today as always,

Awww! How very adorable! Lovely piece.
My niece is just the opposite. She's worried my brother-in-law might replace my sister with another woman.
Thanks for sharing and good luck in the contest.

My mother remarried and he was not into little girls or pets. He had no love in his heart and the inspiration for this inquiry. I wished I had had the chance to interview him. Thank you for the kind review and compliments. Sending you my best today as always,

People who have children should be extra careful when they remarry, I think...

Awww, what a sweet dribble. Okay, that doesn't sound so good, but you know what I mean! The picture backs up the story beautifully, and the homely wording sound quite childlike.

What a lot of emotion you've been able to call up with so few words. This is an excellent dribble flash fiction piece.

I might have put up apostrophes in front of 'cause' and 'portant' but it's probably not necessary.

Good luck in the contest.
Judy

So sweet! This reminds me of "Sarah, Plain and Tall", where the prairie farmer sends away for a mail-order bride back east. You've captured the way a young child would think, talk and write perfectly. Now you need to expand it into a longer story because I want to know how it works out for her! Best wishes in the contest!

It does remind me of Sarah, Plain and Tall. I was thinking of my own life and wished I had had the chance to interview my mother?s second husband. He didn?t like little girls and pets. It ended their unhappy marriage. I think love is the simplest request, don?t you?

I enjoyed your contest entry, Sally. Good job with the prompt. I could just see/hear this little girl writing her heart out in this heart-felt ad. Your lines flow nicely, the image is perfect, and the idea relevant. Thanks for sharing and best wishes. Respectfully with Admiration, Jan

This dear little girl, had my colouring Sally, she's adorable, has my looks, but I'm not her dad, my mum was a redhead, as is my sister, but I sired two blondes, they have a mix of blonde, blue eyed kids, and brunettes...tan, not like me, I freckle. Hah hah. An excellent entry in this contest, I'd apply for the job, but I'm already committed, but can adopt. Beautifully done Sally, blessings, and good luck, Roy
