How special is this one! I can see a little girl writing this from concern for her father. It says so much about the empathy that does exist in children. Sometimes they have mire empathy in their little finger than many adults. Love this! xoxo

awe! I had two step-fathers, the first was a mean kind and the second was ok, but i was already 12 by the time they met and lived with my grandparent for a couple of years from 15-17 and then was in the service by 17 so my sisters spent more time than i did with him.

Comment from Gloria ....
Aw, this is just such a heartwarming story, Sal. The little girl sending out dating information for her father who might not know how to do it. The conflict, the resolution, the setting and a delightful story has been told by you.
Best wishes to you with the Contest Committee. :)

This is an excellent dribble. There is so much story in it I have trouble believing it is only fifty words. The misspellings are a true stroke of genius. No one could think this was written by anyone but a child. I am only sorry that I do not have any six star ratings left in my reserve to award to this. Good luck in the contest.

Wow, what a cutie she is! You can just imagine her sitting at the kitchen table and penning this little advertisement to find a love for her 'Pa'
Such a picture of innocence and yet determination in every word, especially the part that matters. Must smile a lot.... because it's real portant.
Lovely little letter for the dribble flash fiction contest...good luck : )

Aww. A heartwarming little plea that tells a complete story and manages to do something very difficult - reads like a child really wrote it. Thanks for sharing and good luck in the contest.

I love this short dribble, Sally. The little story is exquisite, but also sad. This would set up perfectly for a longer story ~ a romance perhaps. Great job and photo to match!

How cute and what an adorable picture. This brief story really works well despite the limitations of the flash fiction challenge. Good luck in the contest. Keep writing.

Out of six. This touches the old man's heart. So many in need of love. I try and support those in need. A great piece and the photo is tight on. Red hair. Perfect.
