Ronni, I thought I'd pop in to find a poem that is worthy of a nudge over into 'Recognised' status. I found one :-)

Yes, love moves in mysterious ways to open our eyes to see more of who we can be.

I hope you don't my but I spotted a couple of edits. Ignore if you do. Thank you for sharing. ~DD

Before title - in sunlight or starlinght (small typo - starlight)
beyond yesterday(')s gloom

Speechless! Your work is perfection! Such as beautiful melody, weaving in an out of the ups and downs in one's emotions. Your wisdom is profound. Love is just like that - one minute, it seems to be the darkest day and the next, a spark of intrigue and mystery begins - and usually when you least expect it! I feel sad for anyone who has not experienced the delicious change in ourselves at least once in their life.

Thank you for reminding us that "Love can find us virtually anywhere". I enjoyed your rhymed introduction and alliteration of "s's" as well. Big smiles- Joan

My favorite phrase is 'a castle of dreams' plus that lovely pink background ties into the last 3 lines so nicely, if you come at it from a child's point of view. At least, I associate pink with childhood and a safe home. Do you mean 'familiarity' in the last line?

This is a lovely, upbeat message in a striking posting. It creates smiles as the lines flow so well down to the satisfying conclusion open to personal interpretation.

This is a very well done and worded poem. In addition to theme and word choices, the presentation is striking with colors. Nice variation in form and line length. Marilyn

Hi Ronni,
What a wonderful way to express all the beautiful ways one can find love. Not some fairy tale, but just ordinary daily life where one can find their castle of dreams. Well done my friend.

How true these beautiful words are. One never knows where love will be found, sometimes in the most intimate of places or the busiest of times with just a heartfelt glance. Very well written, thank you Ronni for another wonderful piece you have wrote.

I love this poem! I enjoyed the way you describe so precisely the possibilities of love finding a heart to call home. I thought the descriptions made the whole idea so accessible and real ... on the bus, in a waiting room, a grocery store, the everyday places we all find ourselves... that's so often where love begins. This is just a wonderful, thoughtful poem and I enjoyed it immensely. My only suggestion would be to remove the comma after *sudden* in fourth line from the bottom. You've used commas minimally anyway, so that one seemed unnecessary. But it does not detract from the huge charm and appeal of this poem. It is one of my favorites now.

    Hello dear Merri!!!!
We share a mutual appreciation and affection for the simple and
often overlooked moments and places where love finds or affects
us, no matter how long it lasts, or if only now and then. Our
real world chances and place for love's touch and grace, is no
less wondrous than those we often dream of or seek elsewhere.
So elated you loved this poem and I totally love your wise
and warm thoughts and compliments shared. And for the
    extra star too dear friend.
    Love, Ronni

Oh, Ronni -- I woke up feeling just a bit blue this morning and then, BAM!, there's this waiting for me...wow!! Even though I can't say I'm 'here' right now, I have been and your wonderful offering just infuses all those bright, sunshiny feelings...one line at a time...especially toward the end there...just so DELIGHTFUL and UPLIFTING: recalls all those feelings that were there once and still reside deep inside but just need that 'tussle' to awaken them...a gentle read such as this to 'rustle' them from dormancy... Isn't it great to know that we have happiness pinned waaay down inside and we just forget because we get wrapped up in today's problems...? :) :) Thanx so much for finding some of mine for me, my lady -- my smile now belongs to you for the day!! ;) :)LOL! LOL!

    Dear, dear Yvette,
Such joyous and enthusiastic intro into your pleasantries being
buoyed in the reading of this one, is absolutely awesome, with
tinker bell joy chimes echoing within me as I read in wafts of
delightful merriment. Your ascending reflections and memory
quips most assuredly evoke tussle and rustle from what we
sometimes are too ordinary or simple to matter, or too easily
dismissed, until 'up goes the weasel' from some spark or tweak
from somewhere, and we are in our own pin up gallery, and in
sudden audience of them; silently, yet no less sweetly again.
Thank you for my tinging gladness of your immediate and
entrancing affectation of mood upswing of your mood as you
read on dear! I loved your smile for the day, and mine likewise
yours in mutual cheer and kindred spirits sharing!
Have a most enchanting week dear!
    Blessings galore, Ronni
