Ohhhhh, interesting. I like the intensity that you keep up with this piece. there is an air of mystery about it. Did the cat come back to life? It seems it did and certainly got its justice. I like it.

It's rather bloodthirsty for my taste... glad you enjoyed the intensity. It makes for drama when it has to be condensed into 300 words or less.

Hello mystery writer. This is a disturbing little story about someone's been Turning into a tiger. It might be a shocking little story but that's what the story supposed to be like. Well done. Good luck in the voting.

Thanks for reading my horrible bloodthirsty story!
It's not my usual genre so I didn't enjoy writing it much.

You're welcome. I'm not a big fan of horror. SciFi - I like.

Wow, I like this! He apparently hit something solid, but, what about the cat prints? He supposedly hit the cat days ago, so, how did bloody cat prints get on the car and why was the cat's grave empty except an eyeball? I like what you've done with this and enjoyed reading this well written work. Well done!

It's a bit gruesome - can't say I enjoyed writing it as horror is not my thing! Thanks for reviewing the bloodthirsty tale.

Wow - that's a spooky discovery - and a surprise at the end of your story. Good going. It springs on the reader very nicely - siamese are like that tho - they're feisty- we had one for a couple years.

Thanks for your review. I hope your Siamese didn't bring any eyeballs home!

Well, Bravo for a tight well-written horror tale about a nasty cat seeking revenge... beware what you do in life since it may come back in a viscous way - Lobber

And never run over a cat or it might come and rip your eyeball out!!
    Thanks for reviewing this horror.

Well... ouch. On every account. Well-done horror in the revenge from beyond the grave category. I trust the narrator hurriedly covered the grave and refrained from putting out cat treats...

This fits the guidelines beautifully and is very horrific. I don't think you'll need luck as it's a clear winner in my eyes - except that I'll have to vote for my own! (smile)

Wow what a scary story. It reminds me a little bit of Stephen Kings - Pet Cemetery :"The next morning, after sleeping fitfully - my head full of grotesque images - I saw that the fresh earth of my cat's grave had burst open. The deep hole was empty, except for an oozing human eyeball."
Good luck with the contest.

I haven't read any Stephen King books - I hate horror stories so I am very surprised I decided to enter this contest.

This was certainly a strange and horrifying story, so it well meets the guidelines of the prompt. Revenge of the dead is a familiar theme in horror stories and this is a fine example.

Revenge seems to be the motivation for a lot of stories. I am unfamiliar with the horror genre - I never read it, so I was racking my brains to think of horrific situations. Having my cat run over is the worst thing that's happened relatively recently, so she got in the story.

Oh my goodness! This is horror indeed! The last line sent a shiver down my spine, your cat was hellbent on revenge here! Much enjoyed . . . love Dolly x

I am unfamiliar with the horror genre, not my natural territory at all, so I tried this to see if I could scare anyone. It seems to have worked. I scared myself first. I think my own cat is still safely buried in my backyard and is not hell bent on revenge (unless she is biding her time).
