I really could not believe that I won this contest because when I woke up in the morning I was like in fourth place or something! So I was quite surprised by the time I got off work! I?m so glad you like this one too! xoxo

Yes so true! I don?t think that anyone you ever truly love is ever not loved after that. Things may change or life move in, but once loved - always loved. Thank you for taking time to appreciate it. Sometimes I think writing isn?t all about how ?Well? one writes as how well one can move the human heart! :). xoxo

My favourite parts are: 'Not outside but in here
Where the sea meets the land
And love soothes the fear'
and also the loving comfort of the last lines: 'So when the winds do cry of cold My love will be your Spring '

Love this soothing, romantic poem. The picture is gorgeous and I wish I was there on that beach right now (It would be even better if 'Mr. Right' were there with me.) LOL It's not going to happen. However, maybe that lets me doubly appreciate a writing like this one. :-)

I do believe we were meant to have a partner to live this life but it doesn't actually happen for everyone. Your poem speaks to that fact and more.
If a true love doesn't find us, then we can look to the sea and land and find love with God and nature. Beautiful words, artwork and . . .music.

Yes, sometimes true love finds us, but timing isn't right. This is the case with the one who inspired this poem unfortunately :( but i am blessed to have experienced such feelings for him. :) thanks for reading and leaving your wonderful comment! xoxo
