The words in your poem not only rhyme but are most certainly true. Each morning we awake, this is the only day we have because "tomorrow is promised to no one". I have a similar philosophy,and it works well for me as I suspect yours does for you. Best wishes.

I like the mono-rhyme stanzas. The short lines seem to give you a push to do this. It is a good rule of life and is the life the Bible says leads you to Heaven.

You truly captured my attention from the first line to the last' boy, that how I felt yesterday your words are so on point after I lost everything on my computer I vented, then had a glass of wine . It comfort me a little than I had a talk with Him the true-comforter in my life.

I agree, If one can embrace the day in a good state of mind and with a positive outlook the chances are that will end up being a very good and rewarding day. Sometimes that is easier said than done though : )) Nice!

Ps. Yes, it takes a lot of conviction and drive to achieve this. Right, "easier said than done" but it makes you feel better about yourself and you'll be happier.
