An "AWESOME 229 Word Fiction," penning, dear friend! If I were asked, "What is truth?" I'd say in seven words, "It's what's left when void of lies!" The Artwork is "Astonishing," while the Author's Notes are "Extremely kind and Impressive." Six Star (plus) worthy; yet, I haven't any. IOU! This is an interesting topic to explore. How about, truth is anything that is not a lie? So many people are deceived by fancy language skills, but deception is a lie.

What is the truth?Truth can have many forms and colors. Your truth might my life...going back to your story interesting debate from the ground of theology philosophy etc

Wow! I think, unless the son is far smarter than me- and he may well be- that Daniel's struggle to find Truth was better off before teh questions taht after he had heard the answers?

Wow! you are a man of words. Have you ever considered being a lawyer. In any legal papers they use any word that might be descriptive of the product or case under consideration.
I am really impressed with all your descriptions of truth. Can't disagree with any of them.

I, being a Preacher thought of one Bible
passage on the subject of "Truth"
John 14:6 "Jesus saith, I am (another description of God) the way, THE TRUTH,
and the life; no man cometh to the Father but by me." So when it comes to obtaining salvation, there is one and only one way and that is through faith, trust, dependency
yielding to, surrendering to, receiving and
believing in/on Jesus Christ; that is the truth.

Even if there was a clear and cut definition of truth I still don't think some would use the truth. You did a great job with this and I think we all probably define truth differently, but I think we all know what it is without a clear cut definition.

Truth is a concept that has been 'bullied' quite a bit in the last few years. I like how the father relays to the son his thoughts on the subject, and then backs them up through how truth is conveyed in many sources, but we do not have a definition from God - He only asks us to remain true to our truth.
