I too am wheel chair poet, although I attend a therapy health clinic
three days. I have not always been confined to wheelchair, but have been the last three years.
Mother Teresa was quite a missionary to the poor and down trawden people in Calcutta, but was an inspiration to all people,

Thank you fellow wheelie. Yes, being a wheelie is a pain at times, I have an electric chair for 10 years after losing a leg. Thanks for reading friend. Blessings, Kace.

This is a very well written ABC poem you have penned for the contest about Mother Teresa. You used very good descriptive words that were so true about her. Reading that makes me think of my grandmother that is no longer with us. love and blessings, Teri

Hi Teri, Thanks for reading. I have always admired the selflessness of Mother Teresa, she was always thinking and doing for others. Blessings, Kace.

Mother Teresa obviously aligned with the story abouyt saving one starfish from the sea, or one sheep among the flock or one coin among the one hundred. For that ONE, anything we do does count for the One,

Hello Susan, She indeed was a saint. If we had 1/10 of her compassion we would know Him as the One true God. Blessings, K.

Wonderful to find this tribute to MOther T here. She's one of my favorite saints, especially since I also work with the dying (but not full time anymore). I enjoyed tihs line the most:
Never leaving dying, working for the One
And these two as well:
Oh, if we could just make their day complete
Persons in her wake unite, her work so neat
Fine flow and rhymes. No nits.
Nice pic! such a genuine caring smile.
Warmly, rd

Oh, gracious one. Tanka you for da lovely review. She is one in a million (sainted and living upstairs) her work goes on through others of her Order. She maybe one in a million - I am one in a raffle. Hee, Hee. G'nite from Down Under. Sleep tight and I hope the bed bugs bite. (not really) Love, Kace.

Thanks for your fun reply, dear Kace. She is one in trillions! Her sisters are great too.

What a lovely tribute to a wonderful woman. It draws the reader in to be challenged, regardless of their faith following. They have in their face the needs of others and can respond cold-heartedly or with compassion. This is very timely as these days cold carelessness seems to be rearing its ugly face. Thank you for such a good message.

I greatly admired Mother Teresa. Yes, if we would follow in her steps, the way she followed in our Lord's! God needs us to be His hands and feet. Happy Lord's Day!

Hi Darlene, Thanks so much for reading. In Oz we don't have Lord's Day. Then again, it should be everyday we pay tribute to His eternal love for mankind, blessings, Kace.
-
Lord's Day isn't an official term. But a way to describe Sunday, which I and many others set aside to worship the Lord. You're right, every day belongs to the Lord!

Indeed!

Your ABC poem is well written on Mother Teresa. She is on her way to sainthood for her good words. Best of luck in the contest with this fine entry. Marilyn

Thank you my friend. She was so humble she really didn't want to travel to the Vatican to receive the Peace Medal from the Pope!
