I love the way you spoke truth through fiction. I think that takes a lot of understanding of the word of God and a lot of talent to express it as a story, much like Jesus did with His parables. This could make a beautiful children's book.

A wonderful story. I love the Lord and love to read His word and this one is based on getting life from the river to help the birds and people but the true life is Jesus. He's the only one who can give real life. You did a great job.

Hi, from your explanations in the author notes I can conclude that the repetitive nature of the dialogue is intentional, but how it is repetitive gave me pause. Specifically, the dialogue tags seem heavy-handed. Describing Daniel and Samuel too much and too often distracted me. It made me concentrate on the names and the author's voice, too much, I think. The message was muddied up by this for me. Lastly, the actual names, 'Samuel' and 'Daniel', were too phonetically alike for a pleasing sound to the verse. Having a completely different sound, like 'Soloman' and 'Daniel', or 'Abraham' and 'Samuel', would provide a pleasant sounding contrast. Otherwise, I found this inspired and compelling. Very nicely done.

The LORD was with Samuel as he grew up, and he let none of Samuel's words fall to the ground. And the boy Samuel continued to grow in stature and in favor with the LORD and with people. This is the Samuel I know of. Here, I like the approach of writing an almost biblical piece while keeping it open enough for any religion to understand and learn from. An excellent write and very much enjoyed this studious and spiritual write. kindest regards Meia x

As God intended, a father is teaching his son, and the son is listening to his father. The message is, Water is Life. Without water no living thing can survive. According to Revelations 22:17, "And whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely." I appreciate your powerful message.

I like the story you told about David and his father. The water is life and maintains life. I wanted to ask, what poetry style would you call this? I know the basic ones like sonnet and haiku and other forms, but I do not know this one. Thank you for sharing this. And thank you also for educating me about the poetry style you have chosen here. Hugs and blessings to you.

This is a story with a good lesson. We should never take for granted all that we have. In this case, it is the water that brings life to every living thing. Good job!

Your dialogue is very well written and comprehensive. This keeps the story easy to follow and leaves more time to think about meanings and messages, which are abundant throughout.

I found this very interesting. I liked how you described both father and son and their relationship with one another. It is really how every father son relationship should be. I also liked the fact that water, being such a precious resource, was considered by Daniel to be life, as it was life giving. Excellent message. Very good work indeed!

ALCREATOR:

I believe that God does not wish for us to seek the right religion in which to practice; rather, I believe He wants us to have a true, living relationship with Him. Thank you so much for sharing another lesson with us.
