Good Morning, Rachelle!
Your poetic offering possesses the rhythm of a dance...who knew? :)
Of course, I was drawn to it not only because you wrote it, but, hey...with my last name of "Truelove" you know I'm going to love it!
But I truly do love the simplicity and cadence, and of course the message!
I've not been able to review much lately, but your work is just wonderful.
Hoping to read and review more in the coming weeks!

Take Care!

This is a lovely and excellent write. Simple ,put into the rhythm of an old song, become more beautiful and full of life...more real and close to life. I love it.

What a great verse to showcase your life together as one big and wonderful dance. I like the pairing of the two dancers in the artwork. It blends the verse with the reality of two people joining in the moves together. Good luck, my friend.

I couldn't believe I found that picture!! Shutterstock has been such a great find for me. It's pricey, but for me, it's been worth it because it doesn't take but a few minutes to find exactly the perfect shot.

I appreciate your nice review very much, Melissa. Thank you.

What a light-hearted free verse to the wonderful rhythm that is life...so glad you made it a waltz so that you both can slowly see the whole 'room' as you move together!! ;) ;) Just beautiful, Lady Rachelle! ;) :) Thanx for sharing and best of luck in the contest (you got my vote)! ;) Yvette

*Sorry behind on reviews...just getting home from my youngest's 2-day college orientation (and of course travel time!) plus prep for same's wisdom teeth removal early Monday....can you say 'no time on computer'....LOL!

Oy! I appreciate that you made the time for this lovely review (and feel simultaneously guilty for the exact same reason.) Thank you, and good luck on Monday! Oy.

Dancing cheek to cheek is carefree fun too! You ably described a dance move most of us enjoy throughout our lives.

When it is right, then you are tight with your life's partner.

A very nice 'heart' illustration to accompany your contest entry. Best wishes in the same.

Hi! Great poem and choice of picture. It was interesting that because the poem started with one-two-three I kind of read it in Britney Spears voice.

I enjoyed how you ended both stanzas with the word life. It added a nice ring to it! I also thought it was interesting how in the three sentences found in the poem, the first was a command, the second an affirmative with "you" as the noun, and the third with "I" as the noun. I enjoyed it!

Yuna.
