Hi Debra,
I love the new word, "rememberies", a combination of "remember" and "memories". Kids are so smart.
Happy thoughts, eh? Well, Halloween and Christmas always leave great rememberies for me. I don't like receiving gifts, but I love giving gifts.
And more recently, my granddaughter Isla gives me a lot of great rememberies. She just turned 17 months old, and is well into the toddler stage of life. I have a lot of fun with her.
"They're times we've spent together, and
I hold them in my heart -
they make delightful company
whenever we're apart." ... that's the thing about rememberies. They are always on call!
Nicely penned!

Hi Kimbob :)
Thanks for this great review!
Just popped on briefly.... I'm currently off work with the dreaded Covid - feeling rather rough and more than a little sorry for myself. Your lovely feedback has cheered me :)
Hope you and yours are well - best wishes, Debra x
-
Oh, Deb, I sure hope you don't have Covid. Have you had any vaccinations yet? I miss seeing your pretty face in here with new poems.
All the Best!
Hugs,
Kimbob

Bless you, Kimbob :)
I'm double vaccinated but I still caught it. I have 3 days left of isolation. I'm really tired and feel like I have a heavy cold. It could be worse... My husband and son also have it, fortunately our daughters have avoided it so far.
Hope to back writing soon, when life allows!
Take care, best wishes, Debra x

I'm so sorry to hear this news, Debra. Your experience would be quite interesting. Please write about it for us.
We've all been double vaccinated as well, and so far very lucky. My wife would never survive Covid. Her lungs are not in good shape, and she has never smoked. So we are careful, always wearing masks and staying indoors as much as possible.... TV, treadmill, computer... it all gets boring after a while. But I'm glad you and your family have survived. Let me know when you're 100%. I'll be praying for you and your family.
Big Hugs,
Kimbob

Thank you so much, Kimbob :) x
I came across the message you sent when I just cleared my mailbox. Thanks again for your care and concern. Stay safe - it sounds like you are doing the very best you can xx

Hi Lulube :) Thanks for your lovely feedback! Yes, I remember how you like to compile a list of invented words! It's Rebecca who is responsible for this one :)
Best wishes as always, Debra

Ah to reminisce, to look back to those wonderful times and let those rememberies makes us grin like a loon! Remembery that time we locked ourselves out of that chalet and broken in by using a long branch squeezed through an ajar window, oh how we grinned as we got in and danced and laughed boisterously, triumphantly and proudly until we found a couple armed with a broom and cricket bat, threatening to evict us as burglars, as we'd broken in and ransacked the wrong cabin... erm... no sorry that never happened.... honestly (grins sheepishly). Happy times, happy memories, happy couples... can't get better than that, or this poem :)

Oh bravo! I love the word, rememberies :) Reminds me of when my grandson wanted to go to Calaway Park here in Calgary but he pronounced it Caleo Park. I will forever think of it as Caleo Park. Kids are so cute when first learning our English language.
Your poem is wonderful. It touched my heart today.

What a fun new word....from the mouths of babes!! ;) ;) I would only suggest using one of the following changes (or another one) due to grammatical inconsistencies:
They're times --> The times OR our times
[using "They're" means that the sentence should be able to be read as "They are".... :) :)]
Thanx for sharing your beautiful daughter's expression in such a lovely set of quatrains!! ;) ;) Yvette

We were told once by a young Asian waitress that we had 'very good rememberies' because we had managed to remember her name from one visit to the next. Her name as Tu Ling and we were only able to remember it because we kept reciting to ourselves 'Too Long, Tu Ling'. lol We've never forgotten the word either.

How cute! I love the made-up word and I love your poem. It's cheerful and as usual makes me happy just by reading it.
Thanks for the smile. Take care.

This poem, rememories, is quite quotable and makes the place for happy memories a noun on its own. Of course, there are some things I'd like to fiveget.
