It is sad, isn't it? I think the first movie I saw like that was "Clerks." Every line delivered had the f-word. It was so terrible that we couldn't watch it and had to return the rental video. And they made a sequel. Good rant about the lack of creativity in language these days.

There is a cop movie called Metro, It has so much profanity In the first five minutes I've never seen the rest.

Haha. Couldn't agree more. We watch the news and weather then mostly the TV gets switched off. However we are watching some of Wimbledon tennis at the moment. Even the comedy shows are full of expletives. Why they can't be funny without all the 'f' words I don't know.

You probably need a violence and language warning on this for some of the reviewers may complain and ding you stars in the ratings. I do agree with your point about how it's more about sex and violence than the plot.

This hits home at the truth with precision. While this density of cussing may be prevalent in real life conversations, I personally read a book or watch a film to experience something beyond my everyday life.

Wow, I guess my ears are as old a yours. It is completely true that modern anything depends of language abuse to sell the pictures, instead of relying on good old fashion acting. Long gone is that talent. Now it is foul language, violence, nudity and sex. Perhaps I am getting too old.

Amen, Brother! .... We dropped cable this year and just have Prime Streaming service and, you know what? We haven't missed it at all! :) The younger generation doesn't even watch television so, when the boys come home, they don't miss it! ;) ;) Now we choose what comes on the television screen and make sure to eliminate programs that have this 'nonsense' in them!! ;) ;) Thanx for sharing, sir -- another wonderful rant!! ;) ;) Yvette
