Actually, they did make a lot of sense. I had nightmares after Princess Diana died. I know, weird. It was about her being buried on a little island on her brother's estate. I saw my two sons in a little rowing boat, trying to get to the island and I was watching them, trying to get them to come back. The rowing boat capsized and I jumped into the moat to try and save them, that's when I woke up. It came night after night, and drove me to despair. I told my doctor about it, and he sent me to someone who reads dreams. I went and told her about my dream, she asked me some questions, and when I told her Prince's William and Harry's mother died, they were the same age as my sons were when their dad died. She told me I was scared I was going to lose them too. She said it was natural, I wanted to keep them close, just as Diana did when she was alive. She said loads of other things which all related to that period in my life. I did manage to get some sleep after that. Dreams can be through wonderful experiences, and as with me, something traumatic. Don't I rabble on? Loved this one, my friend. xxxxx

A recurring dream I would find MOST disturbing, and the one you described would be especially so. I'm glad you found answers and that they enabled you to sleep. The mind is a fascinating commodity, isn't it? It WILL make you deal with what's bothering you, one way or another.

I think that your dream means that you ate too late. Or, you ate too soon after the recital. You were still stressed. Did you possibly eat fish after that recital? I won't talk about the odor that you smelled during your dream. I do not want to be crude.

I dream so rarely that when I actually DO remember a dream, it seems to stay with me. Why this had to be one I remembered is beyond me! Oy!!

I'm not one to remember dreams, either, Judi. So when I remembered this one in such detail, I decided I needed to research further! I agree; everything pointed to the Recital.

I practically NEVER dream/remember dreams. So this one had to hinge on something unusual. Recital Day is once a year. Voila!

O.K., well, how does one review this? I am on my anxiety meds and do not remember my dreams, but am certain I have them. Because we have developed an honest and frank relationship in regard to writing, have you considered medication so you DON'T dream? LOL Kidding! If I ever dream, I do not want ANY, I repeat ANY of my dreams analyzed. Who knows what they might find? So, you get a million points for bravery just for checking into the meaning of it. One cannot say this is not creative, but that it surely is! Write on, my friend. You tend to amaze me and occasionally scare the living hell out of me! KIDDING! Good job and Good Luck!

Congratulations on completing another year teaching kids. It is NOT easy work, as you know, but the rewards both for students and teacher are phenomenal. One on one is by far the best way to teach, for obvious reasons. When I got married and moved to another state, I didn't want to work when I had a child, so I started tutoring. I got to know the kids really well and watched them grow up and go off to college. They still stop over to visit from college. One is getting married. It's almost like they're my kids, and I love most of them (others? not so much. LOL!).

Congratulations on completing another year teaching kids. It is NOT easy work, as you know, but the rewards both for students and teacher are phenomenal. One on one is by far the best way to teach, for obvious reasons. When I got married and moved to another state, I didn't want to work when I had a child, so I started tutoring. I'm thinking that you're right in your analysis too. The fish was the recital, you thought it was sick-you had been stressed about it, you gave it tunafish-my bet is that you find it comforting(lol), it died and you put it aside because the recital was over. Now you're relaxed. Oh, Happy Day! :)
