Hi Barbara,

a good instalment once again. things are starting to move forward in the case, although it'll be tricky for Mac filling Logan in.

Good stuff

Excellent post, Barbara. I think she should let Logan listen to the recording, it might do him some good. lol. I'm just back from two weeks in Spain, Barbara, hence the late reviews. I'm catching up now. Loved this part. :) Sandra xx

I couldn't read the next parts without knowing what was happening. The reward was in the reading, my friend. xxx

An interesting chapter. Getting to know Megan a little better, but being a party girl is no reason to be murdered. Mac has an interesting dilemma on her hands. Logan wouldn't like hearing that Megan was a party girl even if it was just the weekends. I think she should tell him, but that might make him angry at Mac and he may believe she is lying. This is a good edition. Reading this makes me want to keep turning the pages to find out what is going to happen. Well done.

Barbara,

Ouch! That would be tough. Obviously, the guy cares a lot about his baby sister, but everyone always has a different perspective on things. Wow, that's going to be a touchy conversation... IF she has it at all... hahaha

One small note:
--> The description (up top) still has the wrong name

Thanks !! Enjoyed!

In this chapter we get to know Megan, and she is not what we thought. She liked to party. What other surprises are we in for? I liked the dialogue and the story is moving at a good pace.

I haven't been up on this story, but I liked how you handled this chapter. The life of this murdered girl unfolds like a flower in the conversation between the detective and the acquaintance here, we feel the acquaintance kind of holding back, a bit uncertain, as if she is trying to shelter someone. The air of mystery thickens and the sense of foul play hovers over the whole thing. You work in plenty of possibilities, with ex boyfriends who are into rough sex, ex girlfriends, all kinds of possible motives. pretty good detective mystery plot, and again, doing it through dialogue really helps make it come alive. estory

Mac gleaned a lot of information about Megan from Kate. It seemed there was a lot that Logan didn't know about his sister, things he will not want to hear, and unfortunately Mac will be the bearer of the bad news.
The new revelations added to the mystery of Megan's death, giving Mac more suspects to investigate.
The chapter showcased Mac's interview skills. The question and answer session was realistic. Well done.

So Logan's little sister was a wild thing and promiscuous. A party girl with one-night stands common. What is often called a tramp. Tends to explain why she was killed. Such a life would bring her into a wild crowd, perhaps drug users or other criminal types. Maybe Logan already knows about Megan. How could he not know??

Yes, Megan is not who we think she is. I wonder what that has to do with her death and does it have anything to do with the threats against McKenzie? I wonder Thank you for the kind review.

Realistic interview with believable dialogue. McKenzie seems to have got more information than she bargained for and some of it's not going to be particularly palatable as far as Logan is concerned. I wonder how much he already knew or guessed. Interesting to see where this goes next.
