This limerick, Assistant Required, has the basic format and uses the tenants of rhyme, humor, and story to create an advertisement for a job opening that will likely not be filled too quickly.

I'll pass on the job, thank you. What a funny poem! I struggle a bit with ekphrastic (is that the right word?) poetry. It's a limerick, right? Good job is all I can say. I love the last line.

It's not a competitive group - more of a taking part and sharing group. We all produce our own take on the artwork - it's cool to see how the same artwork inspires different things in different people. I'm glad you enjoyed this - I tend to take the light hearted or fun approach with most things!
